"Helpful support, just not exactly fast"
I use TeuxDeux mostly for simple lists, it does that really well. I ran into a syncing issue though and sent a message to support, then ended up waiting a couple of days before anyone got back to me. Not the end of the world. But suddenly I was weirdly annoyed, like, okay, is my whole system falling apart now?
When they finally replied, they were friendly and the fix actually helped, so I can’t say it was a bad experience. I just wish the response time was quicker, especially since it’s a paid app and I kind of expect support to be a bit more on it.

"Expected syncing to be smoother"
I figured my tasks would update pretty much instantly between my phone and laptop, but that hasn’t always been the case. Sometimes I’ll add or change something on one device and it doesn’t show up on the other right away, which gets frustrating when I’m trying to stay organized.

"I’ve been using this app for my everyday..."
I’ve been using this app for my everyday lists, and overall I do like it. It’s handy when I just need to jot things down and keep track of basic tasks. The only frustrating part is that the reminders are a little hit or miss for me — sometimes the notification pops up right when I expect it, and other times it doesn’t show up at all. I’m still using it, but I wish the alerts were more reliable

"Price felt a bit high for what it is"
I really wanted to like TeuxDeux, and maybe I’m just not the right user for it, but the price felt a little hard to justify. It’s a clean, simple to-do list, which is nice, but I wasn’t totally sure I was getting enough value for the cost. I ended up canceling quickly.

"A little too bare-bones for me"
I get what TeuxDeux is going for with the clean, minimalist setup, and I can see why some people would like that. But for me, it just felt too empty, like there wasn’t quite enough there to actually help me stay on top of things. I kept wishing it had a bit more structure or tools, especially compared to apps that... I don’t know, it just ended up feeling kind of limited and a little annoying to use

"I really like the idea of TeuxDeux..."
I really like the idea of TeuxDeux for simple to-do lists, and the layout is nice and easy to understand. But the mobile app can be a little annoying sometimes. It feels slow here and there, and moving tasks around isn’t really as smooth as I’d like. It works fine for the basics, I just wish it felt more reliable on my phone.

"Couldn’t quite get my tasks organized"
I tried using it for my weekly tasks, but the scheduling felt kind of clunky to me. Maybe I just wasn’t using it the right way, but moving things around got annoying quickly, and I still ended up missing stuff. It just didn’t really fit the way I plan my day

"Easy enough, but kind of a clunky mess"
It’s simple to use overall, but sometimes it turns into a little idiot machine and makes basic stuff more confusing than it needs to be

"I really wanted TeuxDeux to work with..."
I really wanted TeuxDeux to work with my calendar, but the sync was all over the place. Some tasks never showed up, some appeared way too late, and I ended up checking both apps constantly just to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

For something I’m paying for, that feels like a basic thing to get right. What made it more frustrating was how little actual human contact there seemed to be when I needed help. I don’t want to babysit my calendar every day or feel like I’m stuck figuring it out alone, so it just wasn’t worth it for me.

"I want to love it, but it can be unreliable"
Bottom line: I like teuxdeux, but I wish it were more dependable. When everything is working smoothly, it’s a really clean and simple way to plan out my day without a bunch of extra clutter getting in the way.
I mostly use it for work tasks and quick reminders, and the layout is one of the things I like most. The problem is the web app gets flaky sometimes — pages don’t always load right, tasks can be slow to update, and I’ve run into sync issues here and there. It’s not unusable, but for a paid app, I expected it to feel a little more solid.

"Too limited, and the policy loopholes don’t help"
I gave TeuxDeux a try, but it felt way too basic for how I work. There isn’t much room to customize things, and the features are bare-bones. If you like changing layouts, adding extra details, or organizing tasks in a more specific way, it gets frustrating quickly. I also found myself annoyed by the little policy loopholes around what’s included versus what you’d expect to be included. It just feels like the app keeps things simple to a fault, and it wasn’t flexible enough for me.

"Recurring tasks work, but I’m careful with them"
I use TeuxDeux mostly for basic day-to-day reminders, and the recurring tasks generally do what I need. It’s definitely helpful not having to retype the same things every week.

That said, setting them up can feel a little fussy. I’ve had a couple moments where I wasn’t fully sure whether I was changing just one task or the whole recurring series, so now I double-check before saving anything.

Overall, it’s not a bad feature, and it works fine for simple reminders. I just wish repeats were a bit clearer and easier to manage, especially so I don’t accidentally mess up something I meant to keep.
